Alabama Power Smart Financing

Alabama Power Smart Financing offers affordable finance options for Alabama Power customers on energy-efficient products and services to its customers in the state of Alabama. Smart Financing is available on purchases from $2,000 to $25,000 with competitive lending rates. Current qualified Alabama Power service customers can put the financing on their monthly power bill; other qualified customers living in Alabama but not currently being served by Alabama Power will receive a monthly bill from Alabama Power. Information about Smart Financing is available at getsmartfinancing.com. However, customers can only apply for financing through a third-party service provider.

John's Electric Service is proud to offer financing through Alabama Power Smart Financing. With approval, you can finance up to 100% of the cost of your heat pump or a variety of other energy-efficient home upgrades and put the payments on your monthly power bill. Services that can be financed through Alabama Power Smart Financing include energy-efficiency home products and other home and power related services including:

Heat pumps (geothermal, electric, dual-fuel)
Electric water heaters
Smart Home Equipment (thermostats, security systems, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors)
Standby generators (natural gas-fueled, propane-fueled, diesel-fueled)
Electrical (Panel upgrades, EV charging station installation, wiring upgrades)

We just purchased an older home and it had LOADS of electrical issues. Jeremy and his brother did a great job. They were punctual and very professional. The job including re-wiring switches, adding exterior plugs, adding a fan light and a lot of other additions and odd jobs. They cleaned up after themselves and repaired everything we asked. I highly recommend Jeremy and John's Electric, and we will use them again.

Jeremy from John's Electric came because my new Hisense freezer in my garage was tripping the GFCI breaker. By code, all outlets in the garage are supposed to be on GFCI circuits. Apparently the freezer causes a fluctuation in the current when the defrost kicks in and this fluctuation trips the GFCI. Jeremy confirmed that the GFCI breaker was working properly and also that the garage outlets had been properly installed. He told me that Samsung freezers are also known to have this problem.
